Intellectual property is often overlooked by streamers when broadcasting live events.

However, as an event organizer, you are responsible for ensuring that you have all the rights to the content presented in your virtual events.

For more information, please consult our Terms of Use in the management tool, located at the bottom of your organizer account settings.

Explanatory Charts From ROBIC

Legal firm ROBIC has created three charts that illustrate media distribution. Their research is comprehensive and aimed at Canadians.

We strongly recommend consulting them to ensure compliance with intellectual property laws.

Use these charts to understand the issues and responsibilities you face as a virtual event organizer.
