How to change the settings of the validation app

Explanation of the different options available in the Settings module of the validation app.

The Settings module of the validation app allows you to customize your validation options.

General

Language:

Choose your preferred language for the app (English or French).

Restrict navigation in validation :

By activating this option, the Validation, History and Options buttons displayed at the bottom of the screen when validating tickets are no longer active.

Validation options

Data source:

If you do not have access to Wi-Fi or if your connection is not stable, we suggest using the offline validation mode.

Scan results display time:

Extend the data display time during validation. We suggest that you extend the display time if you are displaying participant data and answers to custom questions during validation.

Validation sound:

Five different sounds are available for when a ticket is valid. Choose the one you like best!

Error sound:

Five different sounds are available for when a ticket is invalid. Choose the one you like best!

Camera options

Camera activated:

This option disables the camera validation mode in the event. You will have to use the other validation modes: laser, NFC, manual or list.


If you have changed the settings and want to return to the default settings, just click the Restore settings button.
