Upon receiving a chargeback request, Thepointfosale.com must conduct verifications to validate the reliability of the request.

Reminder: If the request reaches our company, it signifies the card issuer has conducted an investigation and determined that the chargeback criteria have been met.

Thepointofsale.com must then complete the following steps:

  • Trace the potentially fraudulent order;

  • Analyze the information provided by the buyer during the transaction completion;

  • Determine if it is indeed a genuine fraud or not;

  • Contact the buyer by phone and by email if there are doubts;

  • Contest the chargeback request if needed;

  • Communicate with the organizer for additional questions;

  • Bill the organizer for processing fees and the ticket amount if the event has passed and its payment has been processed.
