Here are a few tips if you're having issues with a OnePlus pass validation device.
First, make sure the device is fully charged. Next, check that you have access to a stable Wi-Fi network.
Note that municipal Internet networks, such as Île sans fil or Zap, are not considered reliable. This type of Wi-Fi network is very unstable.
Note that a device connected to Wi-Fi does not mean that the Internet connection is strong enough. Test the connection before your event to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
Weak Internet Connection
If your Wi-Fi connection is not optimal, use the offline validation mode. A prior Wi-Fi connection is required to connect to the validation application and synchronize your event database.
The laser does not work
Laser validation is not available with OnePlus devices.
Use the camera or NFC instead if you have RFID objects.
None of the Suggested Tips Work
If the issues you're experiencing don't seem to be due to your Wi-Fi connection, carry out a complete restart of the validation application and the device, following these steps:
Disconnect the user from the app.
Open the app menu;
Go to the bottom of the menu;
Click Disconnect.
Restart the device.
To restart your OnePlus device, press and hold the power button on the right side of the device.
Slide your finger up to the Restart option.
