A transaction fee of 2,90% is added to the ticketing fee if you use our merchant account.

If you do, you have two scenarios:

In the pricing tab of your event, under the Transaction Fee section of the red box, check Organizer: the Transaction Fee is included in the ticket price, you’ll be invoiced after your event.

As indicated in the selected option, you will be billed the transaction fee after your event ends.

The transaction fee will be billed to you when your credit note is issued, after your event has ended. You can find this amount in your Sales Report in PDF.

Here is an example of the display of the Costs section of the Rates tab in this scenario:

In the pricing tab of your event, under the Transaction Fee section in the red box, check Attendees: Transaction fee is added to ticketing fee.

By choosing this option, as indicated, the transaction fee will be calculated and added automatically in the Ticketing Fee field for each rate of your event.

Let’s go back to our example of a $20.00 ticket.

The total unit price and organizer fee is $20.00.

Therefore, the transaction fee is calculated on this amount :

$20.00 * 2.9% = $0.58

In this case, the Ticketing Fee field is the sum of the Ticketing Fee ($1.37) + Transaction Fee ($0.58), which gives the $1.95 displayed in the Ticketing Fee field.
