IMPORTANT: This payment method can be used only if you have rented a Stripe terminal from Thepointofsale.com.
Connect the terminal to the box office
In the external box office, click on the gear under your name and then on Connect to terminal.
Select the terminal that is linked to your rental and click Connect. Normally, the status of the terminal associated with your rental should be: Online.
Note: Make sure the terminal is connected to Wi-Fi. Otherwise, it will appear offline and you will not be able to use it.
When the payment terminal is properly connected, the following message will appear on the screen.
Make a sale
Make a sale in the box office according to the participant’s preferences. By clicking on the Place Order button, you will be redirected to the box office’s payment page.
On the payment page, click on the Stripe integrated payment method.
Follow the instructions displayed in the box office and tap the credit card on the Stripe terminal.
Once the transaction is complete, an approval message will appear on the terminal and in the box office.
Click on Finish transaction in the box office.
A confirmation message will appear on the screen.
On the confirmation page, you will be able to choose whether you want to print the tickets, labels or receipt, based on your needs.
If you do not need to do this, simply click Finish and you will be returned to the home screen of the box office, where you can conduct another transaction.
If you did not enter the buyer’s email address during the purchase process and the buyer would like to receive their receipt by email, click on Send by email.
A window will open, and you can enter the participant’s email address.
By clicking on Send, a purchase confirmation will be sent to the buyer and the following message will appear on the screen.
**If you already entered the email in the buyer’s information section before placing the order, a confirmation email will be sent automatically and the Send by email button will not be displayed.
